Be a Party Host

Being a mum can mean that you find it hard to socialise and go shopping for yourself. Why not have some fun and host a shopping party.

The days of Tupperware have moved on from kitchen storage items to make up, body lotions and womens lingerie. Most parties take place in the evening so theres no need to worry about babysitters. Although some agents prefer to work during school hours as it fits in with them.

So what happens at these parties?

Well, all the men i know seem to think women try on underwear at the Ann Summers lingerie parties. That doesn't happen at all. There is a chance to view some of the items on offer so you can feel the texture and check sizings etc. The agent may have some freebies to give away so she may get you to play a few games but, mostly what happens is the ladies get to socialise and chat in the comfort of a friends home.

Body Shop and Virgin Vie parties are pretty much the same. There is usually a catalogue to view whilst sampling the lotions and make up. There may be a raffle where you can win a product of your choice from a selection of goods.

What do you get for hosting a party?

For hosting a party, you will usually get a percentage of the total sales for the evening, which you are able to take off your order therefore making it cheaper for you. You may get a gift from the company, body shop changes their hosts gift monthly and the more sales you get the better the gift. Usually if you get two people book parties, on the night of your party, you will receive another free gift or discount.

So girls, what are you waiting for? Book an agent and host a party. It's all good fun, just depends how daring you are!
